Privacy Policy
The short version: your photos belong to your event, your data isn’t a product, and nothing here is sold, traded, or tracked.
What TBT is
TBT turns guests' phones into disposable cameras for an event. Guests shoot a limited roll of photos, clips, and voice wishes; everything develops into the event's album for the host after the event ends.
What we collect, and why
From guests: the display name you sign your roll with, and the photos, clips, and voice wishes you capture. They exist for one purpose - the event's album. We don't build profiles, we don't track you across the web, and we never sell anything to anyone.
From hosts: your email and name via Google or Apple sign-in, and the event details you configure. Nothing else.
A guest's phone stores a small token so a rescan of the event QR resumes the same roll instead of starting a new one.
Where it lives
Media and event data are stored with Supabase on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt). Media files are private by default - they're served through short-lived signed links, never public URLs.
Who sees what
The event's host sees the full developed album: photos, clips, and voice wishes. If the host enables the shared album, guests who scan the event QR after it ends see the photos and clips (voice wishes stay with the host). If the host uses the Live Wall, photos appear on the venue screen during the event. That's the whole audience - no advertisers, no data brokers, no third-party analytics inside the camera.
How long we keep it
Event albums are kept so couples never lose their night. Hosts can request deletion of an event and everything in it at any time, and we'll honor it promptly. Guests can ask the event's host (or us) to remove specific media they captured or appear in.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete data about you (GDPR applies - we're built in Europe). Write to us and we'll sort it out:
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it here with a new date. This version: September 28, 2026.
