Where TBT and Once agree

The shared conviction: wedding photos are better when guests can’t retake them. A limited roll, no previews, a sealed album until the reveal - both products are built on that. If you’re choosing between them, you’ve already made the important decision: your wedding won’t be shot through a feed of posed, filtered, immediately-judged phone photos.

The three structural differences

1. Flat price vs scaling price

TBT costs $149 per event, flat, unlimited guests. Models priced per camera or per guest pack grow with your list - fine at 40 guests, painful at 250. If you’re planning a full-size wedding, run your real guest count through any per-guest pricing before comparing.

2. Pay after, not before

TBT charges nothing to create and run the event. The couple browses the complete album - watermarked - after the night, and pays the $149 only to develop it: watermarks lift, full-quality downloads unlock. If the roll disappoints, they owe nothing. Paying upfront, before you’ve seen a single photo, is the standard this category inherited from physical disposable cameras; we think the digital version can do better.

3. What's on the roll

TBT rolls carry more than stills: short clips, voice wishes recorded for the couple, a photo mission dealt to every guest, and a live wall that develops photos onto the venue screen during the party. Every file is attributed to the guest who shot it, by the name they signed on their roll.

Choose Once if…

You want the product with the longest track record in this niche and your event is small enough that per-camera pricing stays cheap.

Choose TBT if…

Your guest list is real wedding size, you want clips and voice wishes in the same roll, you like paying only for an album you’ve already fallen for - or you simply refuse to lose grandma to an app store download.
